Photography Hiking in Utah’s Bell Canyon

Just about anybody can connect with the emotion of lacking plenty of time in the day to get pleasure from the events we like the best. I've discovered that I've lost contact with the outdoors in recent years and made a decision that seeing that I reside in the fantastic State of Utah, outdoor adventures are not difficult to discover. Being armed with a SLR camera can help also in being able to capture the amazing views you’ll sometimes come across.

With that, I made the decision to take a look at a few of the regional hiking trails in Utah along the Salt Lake Valley of the Wasatch Mountain range. A very good online starting place to uncovering a lot of these hiking trails is the Utah.com online site and in particular their articles dealing with regional Utah hiking trails. When you explore their website you'll surely discover quite a few hiking trails within a close range, especially if you live in the Salt Lake Valley. These are definitely an outstanding option for an easy out and back hike to allow you to get reconnected with the outdoors.

The Bell Canyon hike is a brief hike, relatively speaking. I had been initially attracted to this simply because that it leads to a lake and also follows a smaller sized creek. From what I've discovered with smaller creeks here in Utah is the tendency for smaller sized waterfalls. I'll confess that Utah waterfalls are not equivalent to those located in more widely known locations, especially those in the Pacific Northwest that I've viewed magnificent pictures of. Nevertheless, hiking in Utah will be able to bring you to a few isolated and not so isolated destinations which contain these types of particular modest waterfalls.

In the short amount of time I hiked the Bell Canyon trail I arrived at the initial stream crossing along with a beautiful modest cascading waterfall. I needed to stop and seize this photographic opportunity. The moderate rushing of the water over the nice sized boulders gave just the right position for a traditional waterfall photo. I never made it the whole distance of the trail resulting from staying a large amount of time stopping at this initial cascade of water. On the other hand I have stumbled on a nice area treasure that hopefully will be investigated more in the future.

Exploring the outdoors with a digital camera is one of many ways to enjoy capturing the world surrounding us. For more stories and images check out Clint Losee Photography and his Utah Scenic Photography website.
